Our goal is to inform you as transparently as possible, in accordance with Article 10 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, and in line with your satisfaction, regarding the ways your personal data is collected and stored, the purposes and methods of processing, the persons with whom it is shared, the legal grounds, and your rights. As YILDIZ METAL, we attach great importance to the processing and preservation of all kinds of personal data of all individuals related to our company in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“KVKK”). Aware of this responsibility, we process your personal data as the “Data Controller” defined under the KVKK, within the limits required by the legislation and as explained below.
In this disclosure text, the following definitions apply:
·       Personal Data: Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person,
·       Personal Data Protection Law (“KVKK”): Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, which entered into force upon publication in the Official Gazette on 07.04.2016,
·       Data Controller: The natural or legal person who determines the purposes and means of processing personal data and is responsible for the establishment and management of the data recording system,
·       Data Processor: A natural or legal person who processes personal data on behalf of the Data Controller based on the authority given by the Data Controller.

Data Controller:

 In accordance with KVKK, your personal data shared in the capacity of counterpart, supplier, customer, employee, intern, visitor, etc., will be evaluated by the legal entity of YILDIZ METAL INDUSTRY AND TRADE LIMITED COMPANY, designated as the data controller, within the scope specified below.

1. Collection, Processing, and Business Purposes of Personal Data

 Your personal data may vary depending on your relationship with our Company and may be collected verbally, in writing, or electronically by automatic or non-automatic means through all branches and units of our Company, all systems, websites, social media platforms, and similar channels. Your personal data may be created and updated as long as your relationship with our Company continues. Your collected personal data may be processed for the purposes of conducting the necessary work by the relevant business units for you to benefit from the services of our Company, ensuring the legal and commercial security of our Company and those who have a business relationship with our Company, determining and implementing our Company’s strategies, and ensuring the execution of our Company’s human resources policies. According to the conditions and purposes of processing personal data specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK, your data will be processed: ·       In compliance with the law and principles of good faith, ·       Accurately and, where necessary, up to date, ·       For specific, explicit, and legitimate purposes, ·       Relevant, limited, and proportionate to the purposes for which they are processed, ·       Retained for the duration stipulated in the relevant legislation or required for the purpose of processing.

2. To Whom and for What Purpose Processed Personal Data May Be Transferred:

 Your collected personal data may be transferred to our business partners, suppliers, legally authorized public institutions, and private individuals for the purposes of conducting the necessary work by the relevant business units to allow you to benefit from our Company’s services, ensuring the legal and commercial security of our Company and individuals who are in business relations with our Company, determining and implementing our Company’s commercial and business strategies, and ensuring the execution of our Company’s human resources policies, in accordance with the conditions and purposes of personal data processing stated in Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK.

3. Method and Legal Grounds for Collecting Personal Data:

 Your personal data is obtained in any verbal, written, or electronic environment for the purpose of providing our services and for our Company to fulfill its responsibilities under contracts and the law fully and properly. Your personal data collected based on this legal reason can also be processed and transferred for the purposes stated in items (1) and (2) of this text within the scope of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK.

4. Rights of the Personal Data Owner as Stated in Article 11 of the KVKK:

 As personal data owners, if you submit your requests concerning your rights to our Company through the methods outlined below, our Company will conclude the request free of charge within 30 days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. However, if the Personal Data Protection Board stipulates a fee, a fee may be charged according to the tariff determined by our Company. In this context, personal data owners have the right to: a-     Learn whether personal data is processed, b-    Request information if personal data has been processed, c-     Learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether it is used in accordance with its purpose, d-    Know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or abroad, e-     Request correction of personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed, f-      Request deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of the KVKK, g-     Request notification of the operations carried out pursuant to subparagraphs (e) and (f) to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred, h-    Object to the occurrence of a result against the person himself/herself by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems, i-      Request compensation for damages in case of loss due to unlawful processing of personal data. Pursuant to Article 13(1) of the KVKK, you may submit your request to exercise your rights mentioned above in writing or by other methods determined by the Personal Data Protection Board. Since the Board has not defined any other methods at this stage, your application must be submitted in writing to our Company as required by KVKK. The channels and procedures for delivering your written applications under Article 11 of KVKK are explained below: ·       In person by the applicant, ·       Through a notary, ·       By being signed with a “secure electronic signature” defined in the Electronic Signature Law No. 5070 and sent to our Company’s registered e-mail address.

Your requests submitted to us will be answered within thirty days from the date we receive them, depending on the nature of the request, pursuant to Article 13(2) of the KVKK.
Our responses will be delivered to you in writing or electronically in accordance with Article 13 of the KVKK.
You may submit your request to exercise the rights listed above under Article 11 of KVKK to our Company by clearly and understandably stating which right you wish to exercise, along with your identification details, using the methods explained above.
